Random Act of Kindness- #2
This is a follow up to the posting from last week. I promised to share the results of the act of kindness. Well, I was not able to go to Tulsa due to project deadlines and illness. Then this lovely weather moved in and we are all homebound! I still plan to go when weather and time permit for an adequate visit with the beloved. I anticipate a move of the spirit to flow when I do go to deliver the gifts. And am excited because I know how wonderful God acts when He is trying to woo and draw His children to come to Him! In His everlasting love for us! Glory be to Him in the highest!
I will be posting a final blog concerning this after I return from Tulsa. So Stay tuned to hear how God is working in the present times.
Be Much With Me
For My people, saith the Lord, set a watch in the night-time; yea, rise and pray, and let not that hour come upon thee unaware.
For the time is short, yea, the storm is gathering fast. Ye see the clouds in the sky, and ye say rain is approaching.
Can ye not discern the events that are currently shaping up in the affairs of men, and be as keen to observe their import and know that disaster and holocaust are in the making?
But thou art prone to fall into the same snare as others – to presume that prosperity and peace will continue, simply because you wish so strongly that it might be so.
Ye are not ignorant concerning the prophecies of My Word as some are, and yet ye allow the feelings and attitudes that are abroad in the land to invade your own personal life.
Be more with Me, and let My Spirit pervade thy spirit, and then thou shalt be more influenced by Me than by the world around you. But be prepared for the fact that ye will then be of a different mind and attitude than those around you, and be willing to accept the difference and be able to ignore misunderstnading.
For many will not accept a message of warning, because they have set their own personal ambitions against the will of God. And they are so intent upon their own pursuits that they refuse to tolerate the thought of possible interference of any kind.
But you, beloved, be much with Me, for for there is a great and heavy burden on My heart. For God taketh no pleasure in the death of the wicked. my long-suffering and grace have continued because I deeply desire that all men should come to repentance. But the grapes of wickedness are full, and the vats of the wine-presses are already beginning to receive the juice, and ere long they shall be running full.
For the times of the Gentiles are drawing to a close, and I come. Yea, be thou ready, for I come quickly.

Lead to read this book by the Lord. It’s as if He is speaking to me individually through the pages of it.
A Random Act of Kindness “Part One”
I was challenged to do a random act of kindness this week! How uncanny that I already had one in progress! I have been buying and collecting things needed for some individuals in Tulsa. One of them is a young lady who has lost most of her material possessions and her children. She has need for some clothes, make-up, perfume, hygiene products and books to read. So I have purchased a few things as well as gathered some things from my personal belongings. I have included some spiritual books for her recovery from loss. And a devotional for a “Princess of the King” . Of course this King is Jesus! And she does not really know Him yet. I am hoping she will learn she does have worth and is loved by Jesus.” And by a total stranger.” For she does not know me or that I have a heart for the lost and hurting people that others just throw out to the curb.
The other person is a man who has been struggling to gain control of pain in his body, mind, and in his spirit for years. “This man I know“. He is a veteran of the Armed Forces. And has fought several violent battles in other countries for the safety of their people as well as the safety of Americans. He did this for 7 years before being hit by a drunk driver. Which resulted in a long hospitalization and recovery some years ago. He now deals with acute pain all the time. And has post traumatic stress disorder. And cannot work. He helps the homeless who live in tents and at the shelters. Sharing the gospel of Jesus with them and helping them to know they’re loved too. So in my gratitude of his service to our country and his heart for the lost. I went shopping and bought him a nice warm shirt. Some music CD’s by Christian artists. Books to help him pass the time he has on his hands when he’s not helping the homeless. And so he would be edified by the words he reads in the pages of the books.
The reason I chose to do this? There was a time when I myself was lost, lonely, hurting and dead on the inside. Homeless on the streets for 4 years with no one to really care about me. That was until the Lord sent his chosen ones to tell me “He loved me”. And I could be saved from this misery. If I would just come to Him. These” strangers“ showed me the love of the Lord. Gave me money, fed me. and made sure I had a coat to wear in the middle of the winter. I have never forgotten that! This is another way for me to pay it forward….
Stay tuned… I will let you know how we all respond to the random generosity and unconditional love. I will be delivering the gifts this Friday night!
“A Positive Attitude”
Having a positive attitude in today’s society can become challenging at best. But armed with the right tools to succeed you can “shine” everywhere you go! It is certainly a state of mind well worth developing and strengthening. Helping you and those around you to cope more easily with everyday life. It leads to happiness, success and can change your whole life. Looking at the bright side of life and the best in those around you is one way of being optimistic. By expecting the very best outcome to happen you draw the best in the universe to yourself! Positive thinking brings inner peace, improved relationships, better health, and the most satisfaction in your life.
Effective positive thinking that brings results is much more than just repeating a few positive words, or telling yourself that everything is going to be all right. It has to be your predominant mental attitude. It is not enough to think positively for a few moments, and then letting fears and lack of belief enter your mind. Some effort and inner work are necessary. Are you willing to make a real inner change? Are you willing to change the way you think? Are you willing to develop a mental power that can positively affect you, your environment and the people around you?
If you need a bit of help to develop your positive mental attitude read the following tidbits of info! And make it a great day!
* Always use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, ‘I can’, ‘I am able’, ‘it is possible’, ‘it can be done’, etc.
*Allow into your awareness only feelings of happiness, strength and success.
*Try to disregard and ignore negative thoughts. Refuse to think such thoughts, and substitute them with constructive happy thoughts.
*In your conversation use words that evoke feelings and mental images of strength, happiness and success.
*Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome. If you visualize with concentration and faith, you will be amazed at the results.
*Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.
*Watch movies that make you feel happy.
*Minimize the time you listen to the news and read the papers.
*Associate yourself with people who think positively.
*Always sit and walk with your back straight. This will strengthen your confidence and inner strength.
*Walk, swim or engage in some other physical activity. This helps to develop a more positive attitude.
Think positive and expect only favorable results and situations, even if your current circumstances are not as you wish them to be. In time, your mental attitude will affect your life and circumstances and change them accordingly.

Thanks For Your Time
Think about this. You may not realize it, but it’s 100% true .
1. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
2 A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
3 Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
4.. You mean the world to someone..
5. If not for you, someone may not be living.
6. You are special and unique.
7. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won’t get it, but if you trust God to do what’s best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.
8. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.
9. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
10. Someone that you don’t even know exists loves you.
11.. Always remember the compliments you received… Forget about the rude remarks.
12 . Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you’ll both be happy .
13. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
Send this letter to all the people you care about, if you do so, you will certainly brighten someone’s day and might change their perspective on life…for the better.
“Thanks for your time!”
Christmas Gifts
The best Christmas gifts are the kind money cannot buy
The kind that come from power above
Yes, His gifts are so full of love
Healing your body
Your mind, and spirit….
Or what about the lost friends
He brings back to you?
How about that child that made it home from war,
Or a battle won over addiction
What of the lost on the streets?
runaways, throw aways, the ones held captive
Who see the day they have been set free!
These gifts? They are priceless…
Thank you Lord Jesus
for the gift of you!

Ain’t
He was just a little boy wandering home from Bible school and dawdling on the way.
He scuffed his shoes into the grass; He even found a caterpillar. He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the ‘filler.’
A bird’s nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed up so high..was just another wonder that caught his eager eye.
A neighbor watched his zigzag course, and hailed him from the lawn; Asked him where he’d been that day and what was going on.
‘I’ve been to Bible School ,’ he said and turned a piece of sod. He picked up a wiggly worm replying, ‘I’ve learned a lot about God.’
‘M’m, very fine way,’ the neighbor said, ‘for a boy to spend his time.’ ‘If you’ll tell me where God is, I’ll give you a brand new dime.’
Quick as a flash the answer came! Nor were his accents faint. ‘I’ll give you a dollar, Mister, If you can tell me where God ain’t.’
Have a great day…Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil – it has no point.
“Communication”
There are many forms of communication, via several different mediums. There is the auditory means of communicating such as by speech, tone of voice , prayer and music. And there are nonverbal ways like body language, sign language, touch, and eye contact, television, and photographs. “A picture can say a thousand words.” Then there is the written communication like letters, songs, web pages, newspapers, and magazines. Last but not least is our internet, with websites, and information galore! Emailing systems, forms to fill out electronically and the list goes on.
I did look up the definition of “communication” and this is what it says~1. The act of communicating; transmission.2. a-the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing, behavior. 3. the art and technique of using words effectively to impart information or ideas. In today’s world we mostly use cell phones, television, meetings, and the internet to communicate. Which brings me to what I have been learning lately to use as a form of communication. Building and designing web sites. These are used for personal, business, crafts, buying and selling, news and more. learning to communicate effectively through the design in websites has been fun and challenging for me. I have read that communication is your door to wealth, loving relationships, and all that is good in life. Communication is the most talked about and least understood area of human behavior. Our ability to communicate in so many modes is unique to humans on earth. If only we could all master the art of communication this would be such a better place to live and be in peace.
“Teamwork”
Teamwork is a cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of people acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause. Teamwork is important because it allows goals to be reached in an efficient and timely method. Teamwork combines many different skills from many people, allowing achievements to be made that could not be made alone. Not to mention speeding up the process of the project. Great ideas can come together to make something amazing! We can see examples of teamwork in many areas. Such as the government, sports, retail business, the military, and last but not least the workplace.

Which leads me to speak about the teamwork involved in web design and development. There are a lot of factors involved such as site complexity, size, and time frames for completion. Some say that teamwork burns more hours. This can happen if people aren’t working well together whether it’s design styles differences, communication, other meetings, or too many strong-opinionated workers. But the main point to having teamwork is that it can lead to a much better finished product! There is a thin line between the right amount of brains and too many, obviously several minds hold more experience than one. Any given website design & development may require strategy, planning, design, front-end code, back-end code, marketing and more. Freelancers and small web design companies that assign one person to complete a project from start to finish can produce great work! But they can’t excel at every aspect. Collaboration is the key to highly efficient and successful web sites.
What is Trustworthiness?
“Learn the truth. love the truth, live the truth” Trustworthiness is a moral value considered to be a virtue. It constitutes dependability, loyalty, reliability and authenticity. Trustworthiness is earned through having integrity in all you say and do. Keeping your promises to others. Following through on your commitments. Having confidence in the person or business to do what they say they’ll do without doubt. It’s important because people have to believe in one another to be able to trust them with certain tasks. Being trustworthy is a character value people look for in employment, in friendships, marriage, and many other areas of life. If you’re not trustworthy, you might not get respect because others may feel like you might betray them or not follow through.

In the field of Web Design and development trust is important to every team member. The people on your team have to be sure they can depend on you to complete the task at hand with integrity. Be transparent with one another. Understand that respect is earned by admitting faults and working to eliminate them.Your clients will want to know they can trust you to do an excellent job designing a web site for their personal or business use. Fully assured it will meet all their expectations, and when they have questions those can be answered promptly and efficiently.
Some keys to being honest:
1. Face the facts; Honestly face the truth and deal rather than suffer from living a lie.
2.Tell the truth; Take responsibility to accurately represent reality, regardless of the immediate results.
3. Don’t exaggerate; Communicate clearly by carefully considering how others will perceive your communication.
4. Don’t cheat or steal; demonstrate trustworthiness by respecting the property, interests, and trust of others.
5. Encourage trustworthiness; Contribute to an atmosphere of truthfulness by pursuing truth yourself and affirming it in others.
Words of Wisdom

“An honest man will receive neither money nor praise that is not his due” Benjamin Franklin
